Enabling Discovery,Empowering Researchers
Edusa PRO-r is an essential instrumentation for researchers studying sensorimotor control, motor learning or ergonomics.
Edusa PRO-r is a cutting-edge robotic device that allows functional and complex movements of hand, wrist and forearm. Edusa PRO-r covers all the three degrees of freedom of the wrist joint in its entire range of motion unlocking new possibilities for scientific exploration.
Edusa PRO-r is designed for research purposes and can be used to investigate motor control and ergonomics in different conditions with variable force fields and assistance levels. Edusa PRO-r is powered with ReWing AI sophisticated software able to offer the most appropriate and challenging excercises for each user.
Active
The robot operates without exerting any forces on the user, it only compensates the weight and intertia allowing individuals to freely move in an active way.
Passive
The device assists the user when he/she cannot complete the movement independently. The assistance level is automatically adapted to the user’s needs thanks to ReWing AI.
Assistive
The device assists the user when he/she cannot complete the movement independently. The assistance level is automatically adapted to the user’s needs thanks to ReWing AI.
Resistive
Exercises against programmed resistance or disturbances. By providing resistance, the robot challenges the user, creating opportunities for strength training or fatigue studies.
Perfect isolation of single/multiple joints movements
The sophisticated and ergonomic wrist and forearm lock mechanism prevents undesired movements and allows to perfectly isolate wrist movements for precise measurements and training
Different elbow configurations
Equipped with a manual tilt mechanism, Edusa PRO-r accommodates users for specific ergonomics research purposes
Pediatric to adult users
The adjustable innovative mechanism of the arm support fits pediatric and adult users
Sit, stand or bed use
The effortless height adjustment feature of the device enables usage in standing, sitting, or even lying position
Dual screen
A touchscreen with intuitive GUI for the researcher and a dedicated screen with the virtual reality for the participant.
Grip force accurate assesment
The handle is equipped with an innovative textile grip sensor
Full reachable range of motion in all the wrist and forearm degrees of freedom
Perfect alignment to the human range of motion, granting unrestricted joint movements.
Interconnection and synchronization
Possibility to exchange and synchronize data with other third party devices through ReWing AI platform (EMG, EEG,…)
